I'm thrilled to be a finalist in the 2022 Writer's Digest short-short story competition, with my sci-fi story, "Have a Nice Day." This is the second time I've had that honor, so I'm pretty excited about it. Writer's Digest is an American magazine aimed at beginning and established writers, with interview, market listings, calls for manuscripts, and how-to articles. Fun fact: it was first published in December 1920 under the name Successful Writing. Each of these contests can receive many thousands of entries, and it's truly an honor to make this list
